This classic Japanese game—similar to “Red Light, Green Light”—will be played by 100 participants at once!
It’s fun, chaotic, and a perfect way to share laughs with everyone around.

- Date: Sunday, April 20, 2025
- Time: 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM
- Place: Plaza area inside the event venue
- Who can join: Everyone is welcome—no age limit!
- Registration: No sign-up required. Just gather at the starting line when it’s time!
🧠 What is “Daruma-san ga Koronda”?
“Daruma-san ga Koronda” is a classic Japanese game similar to “Red Light, Green Light” in English-speaking countries. One person (the “it”) stands at the goal line and turns their back to the rest of the players, who begin at the starting line.
- Everyone starts at the starting line. One person is “It” and stands at the finish line, facing away.
- “It” shouts: “Daruma-san ga Koronda!”
- While “It” is speaking, players move forward. When the phrase ends, “It” quickly turns around.
- If you are caught moving, go back to the start.
- If you reach and touch “It” without being caught—you win!
It’s simple, exciting, and a lot of fun—especially with 100 people playing together! 😆
